Tycom, Pottington, Devon

This major cable landing station in Pottington was built in 2001 by troubled Tycom, It was then acquired by Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL) in 2005 and then rebranded in 2007 to Tata Communications. 

The cables land at Saunton and run along the river path to Pottington.

TGN Atlantic runs between Wall Township, New Jersey, USA to Pottington, UK. Completed June 2001.

TGN Western Europe runs between Seixal, Portugal through to Highbridge, UK then back out to Bilbao, Spain (via Pottington). Completed June 2002.
